Salesforce Replatform

Thrivent was an early adopter of Salesforce cloud-based CRM in 2010. Over the course of six years, Thrivent had significantly customized well beyond recommended standards and could not make required upgrades without effort to remediate the customizations in place. This two-year $7 million replatform stood up a completely new Salesforce org with limited to no customization and performed a seven-week 24/7 data migration of the Salesforce data from the old org to the new org. Low usage feature and data were deprecated with the initial release in order to so that more quickly deploy features and experience truly needed by the user community of over 5,000 users. As of the replatform date, the Salesforce vendor partner team shared that Thrivent’s replatform initiative was the largest successful replatform to date.
